Everybody Loves Lucy

Bette Davis would have been 100 in 2008.  Did they announce that on the news when it happened?  No. Do they make announcements when presidents' centennials pass?  No.  Does Google allow its logo to be altered every time an entertainer's 100th birthday passes? No.  This important anniversary goes by without notice for most, but Lucy was not most.  She was loved by the masses.  It was the masses who mourned her death when it happened and it is those same children who grew up with her who salute her now.  Everybody Loved Lucy then and we obviously still do.  <3 <3 <3  Happy Birthday!  <3 <3 <3
